Thursday Night Net
(rev. Nov. 26 2007)
It's net time. Does anyone need the repeater before we get started?
CQ CQ CQ, this is ___CALLSIGN___ with the North Baldwin Amateur Radio Club Thursday Night Net. My name is ___NAME___ and I'm in ___CITY___. I'll be your net control statio tonight. This net meets every Thursday at 8:00 pm local time on 145.43 megahertz with a 123 hertz CTCSS tone. This repeater is located in Rabun, Alabama. As part of the net we usually transmit the ARRL audio news bulletin.
This is not an emergency net. However, if you have emergency or priority traffic, please break in at any time, and we'll do our best to handle it.
You don't have to be a member of the club to participate in the net. We encourage visitors, plus our regulars from all over the area.
The North Baldwin Amateur Radio club meets every second Thursday of the month at the Senior Center in Bay Minette, 300 North Hoyle Avenue. We invite each of you to join us at our next meeting. To learn more about our club, please visit our website, ki4gtw.org.
When checking in, please give your callsign, your name and your location. It never hurts to give your callsign phonetically, too. Also, let me know if you have any announcements or business for the net.
Is there anyone with club news or announcements, please call now.
[Handle announcements]
